Media Production

I’ve worked across a wide range of video production environments — from CPG media shoots to live sports broadcasting. At Saatchi & Saatchi X, I supported content creation for consumer goods brands, working with high-end cameras, setting up lighting, assisting on shoots, and experimenting with shadows and visuals to elevate product storytelling. I also edited a 25-video series for the Traveler’s Guide to Ancient Ohio, a book releasing this fall. Working primarily in Premiere Pro and Audition, I followed detailed scripts and shaped raw footage into engaging educational content.

In addition, I worked in video operations and production for the Florence Y’alls, a Frontier League baseball team. This involved managing live TV broadcasts, camera work, switching, on-field content capture, and stream direction — often during full-day games that required fast, focused execution and high attention to detail.

I loved shoot days — every one brought something different. Whether it meant having the perfect tool on hand or improvising a quick solution, it was always a mix of problem-solving and creativity. The image to the right might look like a sketchy setup, but sometimes that’s where the best on-the-fly solutions come from.

Here’s the final result from the setup above. While it’s a bit harder to see due to the vertical framing, the outcome really shows what’s possible with resourceful setups and a strong creative vision. It’s always rewarding to see how much we were able to achieve on these productions.

I have plenty more examples of these shots, and I’d be happy to walk you through them if you’re interested. We also produced some incredible video content — including a few that required some clever science and experimentation to pull off. See a few highlights below.

The Shot

I also had the privilege of working on a project for the Traveler’s Guide to Ancient Ohio, in partnership with the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks initiative. I was responsible for editing and producing a series of educational videos that explore the history, cultural significance, and archaeological relevance of Ohio’s newly recognized UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These videos will be featured alongside printed materials distributed in rest stops, government buildings, and tourist shops across the state. As an added bonus — my name is credited in the book, which is a pretty cool moment in my career.

My media production career continues to grow. Recently, I’ve been clipping and producing content for Chatterbox Sports, a platform covering Cincinnati sports. I focus on capturing key moments from the pregame and postgame shows to post on Twitter — driving engagement, promoting the shows, and expanding Chatterbox’s reach.

Here’s one example of a clip I produced:
This particular video earned over 17,000 views, hundreds of likes, 30 retweets, and sparked lively debate in the comments. More importantly, it helped drive hundreds of new viewers to the Chatterbox Postgame Show, which consistently pulls in hundreds to thousands of live viewers.

Media production has taken me from live sports stadiums to studio sets, and fast-paced brand campaigns. Whether I'm behind the camera, editing at my desk, or solving problems on set, I thrive in the fast-moving, collaborative nature of production work. Each project — no matter the scale — has taught me something new about storytelling, creativity, and execution. I'm always looking for the next opportunity to push boundaries, learn something new, and create work that connects with people.
